A Community Devoted to Memory Care
Developed in consultation with program professionals and an architect with more than 25 years of experience in dementia design, Loudonville’s 18 resident rooms surround two inviting living spaces for an intimate, easily navigable and secure environment to call home. High contrast bathrooms, resident memory boxes, a flood of natural light and an absence of long hallways are just some of the details that make living life easier for our Memory Care residents. To encourage community and interaction, residents and staff share meals and participate in a myriad of activities in a centrally located, spacious kitchen and dining space.
MEM Enrichment Enhancing Physical and Mental Well-being
At the Gerald Levine Center, we are committed to addressing the unique medical, emotional, physical and social needs of each person entrusted to our care. The Gerald Levine Center for Memory Care provides a comprehensive memory enhancement program for seniors facing Alzheimer’s disease and other memory-related cognitive disorders. Programs from painting and gardening to balloon volleyball engage residents while promoting physical health and building self-esteem.
